Associate Innovations is a company founded by Allan Chappell based on the principle that there are ideas floating around that could be used to make business easier but just haven't been shown the love or had the right innovative minds to make it possible. Associate Innovations provide individuals and businesses with it's "Buddy" product line, making life better for the everyone.

Associate Innovations was formed as a sole-proprietorship on July 22, 2011. It started as a way to allow Allan the chance to work for himself and try out what it would take to start a business. The business formed in Forney, Texas, a small town just east of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex area, where he and a small group of friends (associates), brain stormed ideas that businesses and individuals needed.

From those brain storming sessions came the idea that most people needed a "Buddy" to guide them through life and every day tasks. It doesn't matter what the task was, just if it could be easier for someone. The ideas started with "Auction Buddy", a web based platform that would make the local charity auctions easier to manage.

The ideas spread to household needs for those who live in a large household. "Roommate Expense Buddy" was begun, a web/phone based application that allows users to split expenses with the rest of the household with as few transactions and little hassle as possible.

There was nothing really special about either idea, and both have been done before. However, no one had ever taken it to this level. Therefore, Associate Innovations build on ideas already done, but making them better.
